Greetings,
My name is Scott Dionne. I live in Toronto, Ontario, and play as a setter for Thundercats Volleyball Club, located in Vaughan, Ontario. I am a double-sport athlete, playing both high performance volleyball and lacrosse (selected for the 2019 Team Ontario U15 Field Lacrosse Team). I am a part of the class of 2023, currently enrolled at Silverthorn Collegiate Institute.
I began playing volleyball in my 14U season with Pakmen Volleyball Club, in which I was given a leadership role throughout my two seasons with the club. This season, I was given the opportunity to co-captain the 17U Thundercats Legacy team. I am now in the midst of my fourth season with the Ontario Volleyball Association.
I am a competitive, self-driven individual with the goal of providing my teammates and coaches with a consistent high-energy, uplifting, and encouraging environment both on and off the court.
Outside of volleyball, I have dedicated my spare time to volunteering and working as a Rink Guard for the City of Toronto. Balancing my extracurricular commitments while being a consistent honour roll student in school has strengthened my time management and organizational skills that I believe will help me thrive as a student-athlete.
