Colin Vitale '11 Recruiting Profile

At 5'8" and 145 lbs., I am a Libero from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2011. My recognitions include two years on the All-Section team and a few local semi-pro beach volleyball championships, accompanying a successful academic career with a 3.5 GPA and a score 28 on the ACT. My college goal is to attend a school for Communications; living away from home in Pittsburgh for at least a while is my aim. Having court-time is my goal; the play never ends on my side of the net. I, however, am not afraid to be a team-player. I give myself high expectations, but would not pass up a good oppurtunity at any level of play. While my accolades may seem scarce, I do my best to let my play speak for me, especially against assumptions. This goes double for the classroom; working hard there is just as, if not more, important than contributing to the team's success.
