It was winter of 2012 where i fell in love with the sport of volleyball. It took quite a while for me to be introduced to the sport, but still today, I believe it was the best decision I could have ever made. After noticing my major improvement in such a short notice, I had my mind made up that this is something I would be willing to work for throughout the rest of my life. My highest goals are to be eligible to play NCAA Volleyball. I consider myself to be extremely hardworking. Whenever i set a goal for myself, I put a large amount of effort to make sure i complete. I tend to try and surpass others expectations because by doing so, I push myself to the best of my abilities which usually leads to improvement. Whenever I am told to do or fix something, I try my best to get it right as quickly as possible to then continue to perfect my flaw. Although there are other factors that could define me, I believe these are the best that define why I'm the best candidate for an NCAA team. Being a student-athlete is not exactly "a walk in the park". In my opinion, the key to being a successful student-athlete would be knowing how to manage your time. This is something that throughout the years, step by step, I have been learning to adapt to because as time goes on, school work load increases along with all of your practices and physical trainings. The way I deal with all of my school work and practices is by utilizing my weekly agenda; which I use to organize myself and get things done. People see me as an extremely happy, wellbeing person, but when it comes to sports, i take all matter extremely seriously and i rarely tend to joke around like many athletes do whenever they are in the middle of a practice or even a game. I have been doing physical training for the past two years. Last Summer I began going to the gym 3 times a week and I am currently still going on a weekly basis. I believe that people that do not work hard enough for their goals will not get to see them come true. This is why I work day and night to try and be the best volleyball player, and person that i could possibly be. I highly appreciate you for taking your time and reading through my personal statement. Hopefully, my dreams become a reality.
