My name is Juan José Llona Báez and I am a setter/opposite from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. In college, my goals and aspirations are to achieve a scholarship, and play volleyball at the highest level by being be the leader in the court for my team. I am a strong candidate for any team because of my ability to execute under pressure, constantly adapt to the situation, and to communicate with my coach. What makes me different from other recruits is that I’m capable to constantly be creative, play under pressure, and make it hard for the opponent to read. I consider myself a complete player, I am fast and I am willing to sacrifice myself to make a play. I can hit, dig, defend, block, and read the game better than most. I am very passionate while performing, and I am always enthusiastic to learn. As part of my routine to perform at a high level I do consistently do additional work, such as phisical traning and poisiton training, up to 4 or 5 times a week. Academically I am in one of the best schools in all Puerto Rico. Although I am a Student/Athlete I have a 3.4/4.0 GPA.
