My name is Ryder Kehler and I attend Dr. Martin Leboldus Catholic High School. The goal of receiving an athletic or academic scholarship is one that I work for every day. In the 2015/16, as a sophomore, and 2016/17 season, as a junior, I was a starting Libero for the varsity team. I do consider myself a natural leader as I help encourage my teammates to get better and give everything they can in every practice and game.
I deem myself the right fit for an academic or athletic scholarship offer as I have an outstanding work ethic (on and off of the court), I have great academics (high honor roll), I listen to others and adapt very well. I am able to manage my time between schoolwork, practicing, and lifting/training.
I believe that with all of the volleyball training I have received so far, my main attributes on the court include: consistent serve-receive passer, quick footwork and reaction speed; able to dig hard-driven balls, able to read the opponent and how the defense is playing, and remain effective under pressure. I always want to help my team in any way I can, whether it is playing on the court or staying motivated on the bench.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I truly believe I will be the right pick for your school.
