I want to be a part of a team and a program that values hard work, commitment, and virtue. I wish to be part of a team that understands the importance of humility whilst also putting in the work to win. I hope to increase my knowledge of the sport and learn to more accurately place my hits while also adding power to them. Not only do I aspire to be a better athlete, I hope to learn how to lead more effectively, and more importantly, I desire to be formed into a better man.
I believe I can work hard in a program and help create a culture of commitment. I enjoy physical exercise and the process of transforming myself into a better athlete. I also love competing with my teammates and I feel that I can push those around me to become better athletes as well as cultivating relationships with them.
I would like my college experience not only to change me as an athlete and a student, but to give me a deeper appreciation for the importance of commitment and the value of learning. I hope to figure out a career path somewhere along the way, and to have the chance to study in whatever field I choose.
