I'd like to find a university that's a good fit for me both in academics and volleyball. I'm deciding between Physical Therapy or pre-Pharmacy for my field of study. I'd like to own my own Wellness Clinic someday. I am a hard worker, both in my studies and on and off the court.
I'm passionate about the sport of volleyball, both indoor and beach. Playing beach volleyball has helped me develop into a well-rounded player. I've been invited to the USAV High Performance Beach A1/A2 camps and tournaments for the last 3 years. I also love coaching volleyball and sharing my passion for the sport to younger age groups and have been doing it now for almost 3 years at NVVA and our local house league LYV.
I've been playing volleyball since I was 10 and have played as a starting outside hitter for my NVVA club team. I have a high volleyball IQ and strong court awareness. Although short at 5'10" as an outside hitter, I'd love to play as a Libero or DS in college. I am a strong utility player who can play any position required. I have a positive attitude on the court, a team player who gets along with everyone on my team, and respond and play up to high pressure game situations. I lead by example by playing hard and working hard on the court and during training/conditioning. I have a solid relationship with my coaches. I love the family atmosphere and comraderie that we have on our club team and hope that I can find that in college as well.
