In my Junior year I was introduced to High School Volleyball and quickly fell in love with the sport. Once I stepped on the court I wondered why I didn’t start playing sooner in High School. You can ask anyone of my coaches and they will confirm that I give 110% on the court and off. This year I was Captain of our team and made All Conference 1st Team. I have committed to SERV Club Volleyball for this year as well. My early sports experience began while at Middletown High School (Rhode Island) where I was starting Center on the Freshman Basketball team that won the Freshman State Championship. After relocating to Newport News I made the Varsity Baseball team and have played my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. I hope to pursue a degree/certification in Athletic Training or Physical and Health Education. I currently have a GPA of 2.4, but that will increase! Though I have a specific learning disability I do push myself by taking on honors/AP courses in school. I hope to be able to continue playing volleyball in college while I pursue my dreams.
