Cameron Hexter '21 Recruiting Profile

From the first time I picked up a water polo ball, I have been hooked. When I am not playing water polo,  I constantly watch game footage and highlight reels of professional, international, and, specifically, collegiate games. Since the seventh grade I have dreamed of going to University in the United States to play water polo because there is no other collegiate system in the world that offers both academics and athletics at such a high level. In the pool, I lead by example for my team mates, and have earned their respect by working hard, showing up, and encouraging them to be their best. I am positive and I do not believe that coming down on my team mates is the most effective way to achieve a good result.  Academically, I am a strong student. I attend a challenging university prep school and I work very hard to attain a strong GPA.  My dream is to play. I have high aspirations for both water polo and academics and I would love the chance to attend a strong academic school and be a part of the NCAA.
