I would like to play water polo in college for several reasons. I want to grow as a leader and a player, and I also want to grow as a person. I want to be able to compete with and against new players and face new challenges, which will allow me to continue to grow into the best version of myself.
I am a good candidate for many reasons. I am a leader, a hard worker, and I focus on supporting my teammates, as well as challenging myself to be the best I can be. I play aggressively while maintaining my composure and focus. My teammates rely on my ability to keep my cool, even when a game is heated. I have the smarts and the ability to play college water polo. I am very supportive, and I am just as excited to see my teammate succeed as I am of my own success. I balance my academics, social life, and sports very well. I am not a flashy player, but I provide consistent and effective results in the water. My teammates can count on me to create plays, defend effectively, read the field, rise up under high pressure situations, and lead the team through my calm, confident demeanor.
