Ever since I was young, I wanted something that was going to give me true satisfaction and I discovered that in water polo. I started in high school and I became obsessed with the sport. I worked, grinded, and did whatever I could to improve my skills. There is always more to learn whether it involves better connecting with teammates during offense set plays or working on defense strategies. This is why I fell in love water polo.
My goal is to continue to get better everyday and play at the highest level in college. Despite starting behind, I made it my mission to push forward with enough intensity and determination that it would not hinder my level of play. However, I made sure not to neglect the other important parts of my life like my academics and obligation to serve others as a student leader. I feel that contributing to a team in college would help me advance in these areas since I could further my teamwork skills, perfect my time management, and develop relationships that would help me thrive with my work ethic. All in all, I would be enthralled by the chance to play for a team that would challenge me to improve while teaching me those talents essential to long-term success past college. But while I am there, I will offer my undivided attention and effort throughout every season.
