2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Matt Maischoss and I am currently a Junior at Malibu High School in Southern California. I am writing this letter to show my interest in playing college waterpolo after my senior year. I am interested in attending a school with both strong academic programs as well as outstanding water polo program. I am currently a three-year starter of our Varsity Men's Water Polo team. I have been playing water polo since the 5th grade and am very much interested in playing in college. I currently play both for my high school program at Malibu High School as well as with the South Coast Water Polo Club. I am a member of the our clubs 16u “Red” team., which is our ‘A’ squad. We will be participating in the Futures league and plan to play in Junior Olympics this summer. Last year our team finished tenth in the JO Invitational division. I am also a cadet in Junior Life Guards and has spent my summers at Leo Carrillo Beach since elementary school. Hopefully we might have a chance to meet at one of these events, if not I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
