Playing competitive water polo since I was 8, I've always love being in the water since day one. My dad first introduced me to the water before I even turned a year old and soon introduced me to water polo when I was four. From there on my passion for the sport exploded. This led me to my favorite memory which was placing top 20 in the Junior Olympics with my club team in 2019. However, I learned the most after losing the semi-finals of my high school sections. It taught me how to deal with defeat and gave me a driving force from there on to be better everyday, and to one day play at a college level. Water polo has taught me a lot about being a better person and having better character. So much in fact, it helped me win the American Legion Award in 2018 for character namely: courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service. This award is given to one male and female elected by their peers and faculty. Academically, I'm a detail-oriented student known for my adaptability and coach-ability. I was leader on my high school varsity team, not just for goals but also with character, all while only being a sophomore. I believe I could be a tremendous asset to your team, but more importantly, I look forward that all I can learn from the next-level coaching.
