Gavin Garrett '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Gavin Garrett and I am a senior at Cajon High School in San Bernardino California.  I play any position, but I specialize as a 2-meter defender. I have played water polo for four years at Cajon and was one of the top defenders in the league.  I was recognized as MVP for the fall 2021 season and was voted first-team All Citrus Belt League.  I am a team player who looks forward to learning new techniques and strategies while sharing the skills I possess with my teammates.

My intended field of study is history, with my ultimate goal of being a museum curator. I excelled in my International Bacheloriate courses which are deemed advanced placement classes. During the season I balanced my athletic and academic pursuits while maintaining a 3.4 Grade Point Average.

When Polo isn't in season, I help my community. I joined a leadership group called Kappa League where we participate in various community service events. I have participated in these events for four years. I am an avid learner and look forward to developing during my college experience.
