I am currently pursuing a degree in Cognitive Science and am taking my general education and lower division courses at San Diego Mesa and San Diego Miramar Colleges. I plan on transferring to a four-year university in the fall of 2017 to complete my upper division courses and receive my undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science. After receiving my undergrad, I wish to go to law school and get a graduate degree. I have been playing water polo since I moved to California in the eighth grade and have continuously played the sport on and off season at a club, varsity, and collegiate level. I started the game later than most of my peers on the several teams I've played on but managed to pick up the sport quite quickly developing a love and passion for the game. With the experience of playing on several different teams, I have been able to build up an effective affinity to build strong team chemistry with whoever I get in the water with. I believe my greatest skill is my adaptability and my drive to succeed. Whether it is my academics or my athletics, I am always driven to push myself to perform past expectations. Right after I graduated from high school I enrolled in summer classes at San Diego Mesa College continuing in the fall gaining a cumulative GPA for my fall. summer, and winter semesters of 3.81. I have worked and piled on my courseload taking max credit loads to be able to transfer to a university at a junior level in a year. Just as I show dedication in my academics I show dedication in my athletics well. When I was 16 years old, I was selected by my coach to represent my club team, Pacific Polo, at the 2015 18U Junior Olympics. We placed second in the silver division, making that experience one of the most memorable in my life. I have always had a passion and a love for playing water polo and I always will and so it is truly my will and wish to represent the sport I grew up with for a four-year university.
