My name is Alexander Wild. I was introduced to water polo when I was 14 years old. I have been on Varsity for Ponderosa High for four years, all of which our team excelled as League Champs and this year Section Champs. I have also played year round polo for California Republic and for Gold Country Water Polo. I was selected to be on the 2021 CEN ODP Team. This past weekend our high school team placed first at the Attwater Tournament in Merced and I was named MVP or the tournament. We also Placed 2nd for the Sierra Shootout and 4th at the Napa tournament. I am extremely competitive in the water as well as in school but I pride myself on being a team player and more importantly, a leader. I am thankful for the Coaches that I have had and for how they have influenced my playing ability and my life. I look forward to taking my skills to the next level and would like to play for a D1, D2 or D3 school. I have been told that my greatest athletic attributes are my size, skill, ability to lead/motivate my team and that I am very coachable. I want to learn and excel in all areas of my life so I can use my knowledge and ability to help others. I am interested in the nursing/medical field but I am keeping my option open to find the right school. I look forward to talking to various schools and learning more about their water polo program. I hope to hear from you soon.
