Liam Roberts '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Liam Roberts. Since 2014, I was a wrestler. I was introduced into water polo  by my sister as a freshman to keep myself in shape. It caught my interest due to the physicality it  brought to the table and how complex the game is in general. I found that it gave me a different  challenge than wrestling. My first year playing as a rookie, the team didn't have a goalie and I stepped  up to play in that spot. I was brought up to varsity after that year. I then started doing club polo with  Gold Country Water Polo club during the summer of my freshman year. I do very well in mathematics  and computer science. I adapt easily depending on the situation. I’m an extremely fast learner and make  quick decisions. I am also a hard worker, always trying to achieve better, and am very competitive. I’m  looking to play water polo at a higher level team or school that will challenge me to be a better player  for my team and as its goalie. I am thankful for all the coaches helping out along the way.
