Personal Statement
When I first signed up for the water polo team in 2015, I immediately developed a strong passion for the game. I began training hard to try and make my school premier team and the next year I started for the first team at hole, also receiving most improved player. When I leave school I wish to continue playing water polo at a high level and continue to excel in the sport. My long-term goal is to compete in the Olympics and I have many short-term goals leading towards this including making new Zealand age group teams and competing at world junior/youth championships.
I would also love to further my education in my favorite subjects, Accounting, Business and P.E. Studies, looking for careers in the commerce area. I work hard for things that I am passionate about and want to continue to learn and develop my game, I know there is always progress to be made. I am strong in the classroom as well, currently achieving the highest endorsement in level one and level two.
I achieved a Barrowclough gold at age 16 and 17. This is a recognition reward given for the leadership shown at school and extra curricular activities. I am a school house captain and school leader (prefect).
In 2017 I traveled to Montenegro to train and play games with the NZ U17 squad.
