I am a 6’6” versatile water polo player originally from Nassau, Bahamas. I am taking a postgraduate year at Phillips Exeter Academy after graduating from Cate in May 2024, before heading to college in 2025.
I was team captain in senior year and a starter on the varsity team for Cate School in my junior and sophomore years as we didn’t have a season in freshman year. In my last season at Cate, we had the best season in Cate’s history and I was awarded first team in both CIF and the Tri-Valley league earning 18 points in our three playoff games. Cate made the playoffs for the first time in over ten years in the season prior. In 2023, I qualified for the National Championship round of ODP Cadet Coastal Zone but had to withdraw. Recently I joined Santa Barbara Premier Club on their U14 team where we won the silver medal in the Classic division (2022) as Channel Islands United. My ability to pull the team together makes me an integral member of the current U16 Gold team.
During my 6 years of water polo experience I have competed in tournaments at the U14 and U16 age levels for the Bahamas’ national team (2021 and prior) and JO U16 (2021) with North Houston Storm. I have been captain of the club’s U12 team from 2018-2020.
My ideal school would be where I can balance high academic achievements in the classroom while giving valuable input in the pool.
