Julien Brandon-Renaud '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches,

My name is Julien Brandon-Renaud. I have been playing waterpolo for over five years at a competitive level. I fell in love with the sport shortly after I started, and my love of the game, along with my competitive spirit, has only grown since. On top of my athletics, I am also a musician and achieve high marks in school. I play viola in my school's senior strings orchestra as well as with my city's youth symphonic orchestra.

You should consider me for your waterpolo team because I am a dedicated and responsible waterpolo player, and equally devoted to my academics and music. I take a leadership role in the locker room and in the pool, and I'm always happy to give a helping hand to new learners. This year, my last in u17, I was named team captain by my coach.   I play as 2m defender, but I am also often the fastest player the team and take all swim offs. As a playmaker, I try to ensure my teammates and I use the full shot clock to our advantage and don't make rash decisions.

Overall, I'm super excited about further developing my skills at a university level and I hope to see myself on your team.
