I started water polo because my mom made me, but it only took me a few days to fall in love with the sport. I knew then that I wanted to become the best player that I could, and so I joined our high school swim team. I now train year round in the pool, and study year round so I can keep up my performance in and out of the water. I recently started (and played mostly full games) on the team that took bronze in the 2022 16u Junior Olympics, and it was an experience that I will never forget.
As for my personal traits, I get along well with other players and am very coachable; training and refining my skills is one of my favorite things to do. I want to play water polo at the college level because of the challenge it presents, but also because I can't bear to part with the sport I love.
