I was a member of the Division One Women’s Swimming and Diving team at Sacred Heart University. I was a three-sport athlete at Saint Rose High School, where I competed in gymnastics, swimming, and volleyball, before going to college. I spent twelve years competing in gymnastics, and during the off-season, I also played club volleyball and swimming. I won the volleyball MVP award in high school. I made the decision to pursue my athletic career in college toward the conclusion of my senior year. I was able to secure a walk-on spot in division one. As a diver, I spent all four years on the team. Being a collegiate athlete and earning my bachelor’s degree while participating in my favorite sport with my closest friends was an experience I will never forget.

I earned a minor in sports management along with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. I got the chance to work as an intern for the other D1 programs’ strength and conditioning department during my senior year. I completed my master’s degree in exercise science and sport administration at Montclair State University after completing my undergraduate studies at Sacred Heart University. In addition, I currently serve as Montclair State University’s head diving coach.

As a recruiting coordinator at NCSA, I get the opportunity to help student athletes in realizing their goal of participating in a collegiate sport, which is why I’m thrilled about my job. Being a collegiate athlete teaches you a lot of valuable lessons about leadership and other future-focused abilities. I have a strong enthusiasm for sports and hope to assist families in finding the best college program for their student-athlete. During my four years as a collegiate athlete, I learned the value of perseverance, collaboration, and striking a higher balance between academics and athletics.
