I grew up in the Atlanta area and have loved sports from my earliest memories. My family – parents included! – always prioritized athletics, and you could even find us doing “family triathlons” around the neighborhood on the weekends. After trying basketball, softball, tennis, swim team, soccer and gymnastics it became clear to me that gymnastics was my passion, and that became my focus.
After an injury ended my gymnastics career as a senior in high school, I went to the University of Georgia to gain my undergraduate and master’s degrees (I’m a proud Double Dawg) and coach + judge gymnastics in both the club and high school level.
I started my post-college professional career selling golf simulators and launch monitors. I LOVED working in the sports world, but after a move I switched to selling industrial supplies. I’m so happy to be back in sports at NCSA connecting student athletes with the best college opportunities for them.
My husband was a home school student athlete with no direction in the college recruiting process; his story had a happy ending – he walked on to play football at UGA and earned a scholarship while there – but hearing him and his parents talk about how stressed and lost they were in the recruiting process motivates me every day as I work with NCSA families.
I currently live in Braselton, GA with my husband, John, my daughter, Hannah and miniature dachshund, Minnie. In my personal time I love to run, lift weights, watch true crime TV shows, garden and practice my “grandma hobbies” – crocheting, canning vegetables from my garden, embroidery, and drinking a cup of coffee from my rocking chair on the front porch.
