A former collegiate volleyball player with 15 years of playing experience, including time with the U18 and U21 Puerto Rican national teams. I completed my undergraduate degree in Sports Management and am currently finishing my master’s degree in Sports Administration. Throughout my career, I have been recognized as a nine-time MEAC Player of the Week, a two-time MEAC Player of the Year, the 2022 MEAC Tournament MVP, and a four-time MEAC All-Tournament Team selection.
As a full-scholarship athlete at Delaware State University, I had the opportunity to compete at a high level while understanding the dedication, discipline, and sacrifice it takes to excel both on the court and in the classroom. My passion lies in helping student-athletes navigate the recruiting process, ensuring they receive the exposure and opportunities they deserve. I strongly believe in elevating programs, particularly within the MEAC conference, and making a lasting impact on the growth of collegiate athletics.
Now, as a recruiting coordinator at IMG Academy, I take pride in guiding families through the recruiting process, helping them understand the steps needed to find the best fit for their student-athletes. As an athlete coming from a small island with little exposure, I want families to navigate the process as smoothly as I wish it was back when I was in their shoes. The most rewarding part of my work is knowing that I am playing a role in shaping young athletes’ futures, just as mentors and coaches once did for me.
When I’m not working, I enjoy staying involved in the sports world, whether it’s coaching, watching games, or spending time with family and friends. My background as an athlete has given me a competitive drive that I now use to help others reach their goals as well as strive to be put in a position to help college athletes have the necessary resources to excel post-college.
