I was a 4 year letterman and 1st team all SWAC selection in college at Alabama State University in football. After college, I spent time as a professional football player in the CFL and AFL for 8 seasons as a wide receiver.
I stepped into coaching after retiring from pro football and spent 10 years as a collegiate and professional coach. I’ve coached division 1, 2, 3, and pro football in the XFL for the DC Defenders. In 2019 I won a NCAA division 2 National Championship at the University of West Florida before being named pass game coordinator & wide receiver’s coach at Gardner Webb University in 2021. I’ve coached 8 All conference players, All Americans, record breakers, XFL all pro, and 9 former wide receivers have signed NFL contracts. As a coach I have been a wide receiver’s coach, pass game coordinator, and offensive coordinator. I’ve also won a 2023 XFL North Division Championship. I was the offensive coordinator for University of West Florida in 2024.
I stepped out of coaching to spend some time with my wife and family. I came to NCSA because of the quality of great service our company provides. I want to educate and assist student-athletes and their families because it is a very important job and opportunity to make a significant impact. I can offer unique insight and perspective due to my experience.
I reside in Charlotte, North Carolina with my wife and family. In my free time I enjoy watching sports, traveling with my wife and family, and attending sporting events. I enjoyed my playing and coaching career and talk with all my friends in the sports world on a regular.
