I’m Calvert Collins, Recruiting Coordinator with NCSA, and I am from Cincinnati, OH where I am still living. Sports has always been involved in my life, playing all sorts when young, but by High School, I focused on Soccer.
I was a goalkeeper for the renowned Moeller High School, where my team and I set records, won championships, and made countless memories. After graduating in 2020, I would then go on to attend the University of Cincinnati to study Exercise Science. This fascination of athletic performance gave me the experience to be a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Olympic Sports Department at UC Athletics, where I trained 8 different sports in a Division 1 weight room.
My favorite part about working for NCSA is the connection and fulfillment I get from the families and student athletes. I love to hear the story of who they are as an athlete but especially who they are as a person. I was a student athlete who wanted to play in college; many of the questions and concerns I had are exactly what I hear today. Through my work at NCSA, I am ecstatic to help those on that journey.
