I attended a four-year Athletic Training program at the University of Akron and an Athletic Administration master’s program at Central Washington University. I did not continue to compete in college, as my focus was on academics and helping assist in the sports medicine program while in school. Prior to attending college, I competed on the swim team at Steubenville Catholic Central High School. Following the completion of my master’s degree, I assisted as a high school coach in swimming and volleyball.
It was through my seasons of coaching that I fell more in love with the idea of sports being something that can bring so many people together. Helping student athletes achieve their goals was always my goal, however coaching changed my perspective to achieve that goal in sports medicine, to helping athletes achieve the goal of playing college athletics.
The best part about working for NCSA is getting the opportunity to connect and help families along their journey in the recruiting process. Another great thing about working at NCSA is the opportunities to build connections with my fellow colleagues. I am determined, hardworking, and love being a part of a team that is constantly lifting each other up through work and in life outside of the office.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family – whether that be exploring new parts of the city of Tampa, enjoying a hike, going to the beach, watching a movie, and of course watching sports (particularly baseball and football). Other things I enjoy are reading a book and baking sweet treats.
