Dan Schwab brings over 15 years of coaching and recruiting experience at the high-school and collegiate level. Dan served as the Head Women’s and Men’s Track & Field / Cross-Country coach at William Woods University in Fulton, MO from 2018-2025 where he led recruiting and coaching efforts for all aspects of the program. From 2018-2024 the WWU programs earned nine-time American Midwest Conference Champion accolades and AMC Coaching Staff of the Year between the women’s and men’s; cross-country, indoor, and outdoor seasons. Furthermore, four WWU athletes qualified for the Boston Marathon during Schwab’s tenure and the WWU Women’s Marathon team was able to place third in the nation at the NAIA Marathon National Championships in 2023 and 2024.
Prior to serving as the Head Coach at WWU, Dan was a high school coach at his alma mater, David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, MO (2007, 2008, 2014, 2015) and served as a WWU Assistant Coach/Home Game Manager/Adjunct Professor (2008-2013). Schwab worked in logistics management at MidwayUSA (2005-2011) assisting in the adoption and implementation of modern management practices in business (Baldrige, Lean, ISO and Six Sigma).
Dan continues to be an active sport, fitness, and running enthusiast following all things running and currently resides in Virginia.
Coach Dan joined NCSA as a Recruiting Coach in 2025 and is excited to assist student-athletes and their families through their individual recruiting journey.
