I played baseball growing up. MVP of Miami Killian Senior HS baseball team in 1987, attended Syracuse University. Met wife at 24 while working for the Florida Marlins. I have three children, all student athletes. Daughters received scholarships to middle school (Grandview Prep School, Boca Raton, Fl) & high school (NBPS-North Broward Prep School) for softball. Administered city sponsored girls fastpitch softball association (recreational), pioneered travel softball, the Parkland Shockers, ran travel tournaments for USSSA. Coached all ages in softball. My middle child and youngest child chose tennis and were trained at the Rick Macci Tennis Academy by Brian Gordon. Both received D1 scholarships for tennis. Taylor is fifth all time in wins at Auburn and coaches at Mississippi State. Dante was the MAAC player of the year & the Sienna College Athlete of the Year for 2023. He currently plays #1 singles and #1 doubles for Temple.
