I am quite literally a product of college athletics. My mother swam D1 breaststroke for UCLA and UCSB, and is a two-time Olympic Trials qualifier. My father also specialized in breaststroke and swam D1 for UCSB, and is a two-time Olympic gold medalist. My older brother had athletic success playing D1 waterpolo for UC Berkeley in addition to pursuing his dream of becoming a surgeon (which he did!). I ended up staying on dry land, despite playing several years of club waterpolo. Soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track were my big four. It was a win in the 800m race at the California State Championship meet my sophomore year of high school that solidified my dream to run for a D1 program. I got the incredible opportunity to do that at the University of Washington where I ran both track and cross country for the Huskies.
I am so grateful to represent NCSA and help the next wave of student-athletes pursue their athletic and academic dreams at the next level.
