I grew up playing sports my entire life. I played every sport under the sun. My favorite and best sport ended up being baseball. Every summer consisted of me traveling around the Midwest playing in tournaments and showcases. I was a varsity baseball player during high school at Maine South high school. I made my final decision to attend a Big 10 university instead of pursuing college athletics. I decided to attend the University of Iowa.

I loved my time there but going through the process of finding the best fit for university wasn’t easy. I learned what my interests and passions were. Going through college, I ended up graduated with a degree in communications, a minor in Psychology, and a business certificate in entrepreneurial management.

As a recruiting coordinator here at NCSA, my role is to connect with students that have shown interest in becoming college athletes. My favorite thing about working at NCSA is being able to positively change the future for families around the world. Helping students find the perfect college and the best fit for them fulfills me and gives me purpose. This job also allows me to work directly with my biggest passion which is sports and athletics. Working with likeminded people who have that athletic background has shown me what positive competition can do. I love talking to people from around the world and communicating with them to help as much as I can. These are some of the many reasons why I decided to work at NCSA. I wake up every day filled with excitement to make positive change.
