I was born and raised in Cypress, TX. I grew up playing many sports including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming, and lacrosse. In high school I primarily focused on Lacrosse while being honorable mention for All-State selection as an attackman.
I attended a four-year college at Sam Houston State University while achieving both my undergrad and master’s degree in Sports Management. For twelve years of my life, I competed in “fastest game on two feet”: Lacrosse. Which also included two years collegiately at the MCLA level, and advanced to the national playoff tournament in both seasons. After an injury sidelined my playing career, I found a new passion from playing in sports to working in sports.
Playing lacrosse in Texas during my youth I was not aware of the recruiting process or how to get familiar with programs out of state. I joined NCSA in the role of Recruiting Coordinator for a multitude of reasons, but most importantly knowing the impact I could have on the future generations of families and student athletes who might not know the options available. The most rewarding part of working at NCSA is seeing a company that truly strives to put the needs of families and student athletes first-hand.
As a Houston native, sports have always been at the forefront of my life and career. I currently reside in New Braunfels and the hill country of Central Texas. So, when I’m not in the office you can find me out in a field playing summer men’s league lacrosse, local disc golf tournaments or enjoying the river life!
