I grew up in a small football crazy town in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Football came into my life at the age of 9. I played through high school and some college. I entered the coaching ranks in 1988 at the age of 20. Except for 2 years, I have been coaching the game I love.
I spent one year coaching 9th graders and then moved to the college ranks at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. I spent 5 seasons there in a variety of roles. The next stop was a high school in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After two seasons, I moved back to the college ranks until this past fall. I completed my 18th year at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Saint Vincent is known for being the training camp site for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over the years I have been fortunate to learn from coaches at all levels including the gentleman who has started the 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine.
The most rewarding part of my career over the years has been the relationships that have grown with the athletes I’ve worked with both male and female. Seeing these young people reach their goals on and off the field has been the highlight of my career.
I am excited to help the student-athletes in the NCSA program follow their dreams and climb as high as they can in football and life
