I am a former baseball player who made it up to varsity in high school before stepping away due to persistent injuries. I did not compete in college sports and chose rather to focus on academics instead.
I am a huge sports nerd of many major and niche sports. While attending Oregon State University, I found a new passion of powerlifting and strongman after retiring from competitive athletics. Nowadays, I spend most of my free time in the gym working to get 1% bigger and stronger every day.
One of the biggest reasons I am passionate about working at NCSA is that I never got the chance to go through the college recruiting experience – I feel as if it were taken from me due to my injuries. I am here to pay it forward since I never got to have it, so I at least could help an athlete and their family who may be overwhelmed or confused with this process successfully navigate it to the other side. I am extremely competitive, team oriented, and willing to give that extra push to make sure everyone I come in contact with succeeds.
