I have been an athlete my entire life, starting with gymnastics, basketball, and softball when I was young. From an early age, I found joy in staying active and competing, which fueled my love for sports. Basketball quickly became my primary passion, and I dedicated countless hours to improving my skills. My hard work paid off as I thrived in high school, becoming a key player on my team and earning the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
In college, I embraced the challenge of being a student-athlete, balancing academics, athletics, and other responsibilities. My senior year was especially meaningful as I became a dual-sport athlete, playing both basketball and soccer. Competing in two sports at the collegiate level taught me discipline, resilience, and teamwork—qualities I carry with me to this day. During my time as a college athlete, I also gained valuable professional experience by working with the athletics department to create content and manage media. This opportunity allowed me to highlight the stories of my fellow athletes and deepen my understanding of how sports and storytelling intersect. Additionally, I worked in recruiting for the college, helping connect prospective students with opportunities that aligned with their goals, which was both rewarding and insightful.
Academically, I pursued my passion for business, earning a double degree in marketing and management. After graduating, I realized how much I loved the intersection of sports and business. This realization ignited my drive to pursue a career where I could combine these passions.
Now, I’m thrilled to begin my journey with NCSA. I look forward to helping young athletes navigate their paths to success, using my own experiences as an athlete, my skills in content creation, and my recruiting background to make a meaningful impact. Sports have shaped who I am, and I’m excited to give back to the community that has given me so much.
