Victoria Layfield '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to continue my softball career at the next level. This has been my dream since I was a little girl. I have worked so hard to be where I am today and I would do anything to be able to continue playing the game that I love.  Softball has been a huge part of my family and our lives. I would love the opportunity to continue my family’s tradition of playing college ball from my dad and my aunt. 

I would be a good candidate for the team because I know I will give everything I have every play. My strengths are a strong arm, power hitter, quick hands, and I am smart when running bases. I am a perfectionist with drive and determination. The team’s success is my priority over my success. I believe I have plenty of room to improve and I am eager to learn more. 

I am looking for a college in my state, which is Alabama, or the surrounding states such as Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi. I am wanting to major in nursing and plan to pursue the anesthetist field.
