As I look toward my future, I have three basic collegiate goals and aspirations: continue education, play softball, and form lasting friendships. First, I want to continue my education and succeed the major I choose with hard work and dedication to obtain excellent grades to complete my chosen degree, while playing the sport I love.
As a student athlete, I am a leader, encourager, and motivator, flexible, dependable, and hardworking with a drive to play with a passion for my school. I am very dedicated to my workouts, practices, and game: however, I do have a good sense of humor and enjoy building lasting friendships with my teammates.
My leadership ability began my freshman year as a co- captain on JV. You will always hear me rally both on the field and in the dugout. I enjoy celebrating everyone’s successes and helping them to push through to achieve their goals. My co-captain position has continued as I play both my sophomore and junior years on Varsity.
During my school softball experience, I have had 5 different coaches, each year a new coach. I will begin my senior year with another new head coach. I have been very flexible and dedicated to the team while each year obtaining new skills from each coach. Each year came with challenges and a drive to persevere and prove myself in earning my position on the team. I have a deep understanding of how hard work pays off on the field and academically. School does not come easy, and I know how to work hard to achieve my desire goal.
I am looking forward in seeking a path in a course of study that will help me leave a mark on this world, achieve my goal of playing softball at a higher level, and building lasting friendships. I may not know where college will lead my future, but I know that softball will be a part of it.
