Hello, my name is Makayla Brown. I am a sophomore at West Point High School. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and I am now 14. As a 7th grader I started on the Junior Varsity team and in the post season of my 8th grade year I was moved up to the Varsity team. In my freshman year I started on the Varsity team at 1B. I have played on 2 Junior Varsity County Championship teams in 7th and 8th grade. Area runner up and Regional 2nd round on Varsity in 8th grade. My freshman year we won our county championship for the 3rd straight year and finished 3rd in our area. I was voted All County 1st team and All Area 1st team by the sportswriters of Cullman.I also play "A" Class travel softball with the Huntsville Green Flash 14U. My goals are to achieve the highest academic level education possible and play at the highest collegiate level of softball I can. This is very important to me. I always give 100% in the classroom and on the field. I regularly volunteer as a church camp counselor for needy children, which I really enjoy doing.
