Hi, my name is Brenda Rogers and I love to play softball! I have played softball for 10 years and I would like to continue my journey in college! I love to push myself harder so I will start to achieve my goals and see improvement. In my softball career I have came a long way with many obstacles, I broke my thumb my sophomore year and had to have surgery! When I was cleared it was very hard to lift weights, and when I caught a ball it would hurt so I worked every day to try to get my thumb and hand back where it needed to be! I started to see improvement and that's when I realized that if you want to reach a specific goal, I as a player must strive to work harder every day! I love cheering on my fellow teammates, because to cheer a teammate on builds their confidence, insures them that their fellow teammates are behind them and confident in any decisions they make! My biggest inspiration is my mom, without her I would not be where I am today! When it comes to my academics I put all my focus on what my work is! I know that if I make good grades and do the best that I can and will see improvement! I would love to be a Psychologist and help people work on their problems. If I could sit and listen to one person and help them with their problems, that's just one more person in the world that knows they are not alone and they have a friend to talk and listen to! Working with adults, teenagers, or kids any way would make my dreams come true! I still have a lot of work to put into my softball career and I still have a lot to learn about psychology , but I know that if it's God's will then it will be done! I know that my ACT is not very high but I'm studying and really working hard on it to improve so I can get into a good college and play softball! I give all my thanks to God and I hope I am a good fit for whomever would like to have me on their team!
