I started playing softball when I was five years old, and ever since then I knew I wanted to play at the college level. I have always dreamed of standing on that field while my family, friends, and all the fans cheered for the team. I love every aspect of the game. The adrenaline rush from making a diving play in the outfield or hitting in the game winning run. But what really matters is the little things. To be a part of a team you have to be a good teammate. Which means putting the team's needs in front of your own. I feel that I am a good candidate for your team because I know how to be a good teammate. A good teammate is someone who looks out for the other players, who helps them when they are down, and someone who most importantly will cheer for their team no matter what. I am different from other recruits because I will always treat all of my teammates, my coaches, and everyone with the utmost respect. I believe that respect and trust are the most important traits to have when it comes to being on a team. If you can't trust or respect your teammates, then there won't be a healthy relationship. Softball came so naturally to me, I was just good at the game. I have turned my natural ability into skill and I will keep working harder everyday to improve in every aspect. Academics have always been a huge part of my life as well. I have always kept my grades up, because to be a good athlete you have to be a good student. I love playing softball and my dream is to play in college. I won't settle until my dreams become a reality.
