When I was growing up my goal was always to make it to play for a college team. I have lived and loved this game since I was five. I have always played the pitcher position so when it was time to age up my dad told me that I was going to have to learn to pitch. My dad and I then watched videos and began the learning process of pitching. Since that time I have been working incredibly hard with different pitching coaches to help me achieve my goals. These coaches have pushed me to become the player I am today. I strive to be the hardest worker on and off the field, the team's biggest motivator and to lead by example.
I also try to take this dedication and hard work of softball into the classroom. I want to extend my education and study physical therapy. I am very passionate about this because I have undergone major knee surgery in the eighth grade and did physical therapy for a duration of three months. This experience has not only showed me the hard work and persistence it takes to become a therapist but also how to overcome an obstacle and to make light out of every situation.
I will always strive to give my best no matter the situation and truly hope to become a powerful asset to your team.
