Mattea Burrill '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball all my life and playing competitively since U12. I love this sport and the memories I have made with my friends. I am proud of the years of work my team and I have put in to get where we are today, and have learned the value of a strong work ethic, attitude, and team spirit. 

I currently have a part time job along with a busy softball training schedule. As a student athlete, I also have high academic standards, achieving above average grades throughout middle and high school.

Over the years, I have primarily trained as a shortstop, however I am comfortable in all areas of the field including catcher and outfield. I enjoy competing and filling any position necessary to help my team find success. Additionally, I am a strong hitter and confident in my skills at the plate.
