I have always had a love for softball. Ever since I could swing a bat, I knew this was the sport for me. Over the past few years, I have put most of my energy and time into this sport and have learned a lot about myself and what I’m capable of. I am extremely passionate about my sport and am enthusiastic to pursue it further. I am a hardworking student-athlete with a tremendous work ethic. Competition has always been my passion and I love playing with a group of people who feel the same way. When placed in a competitive setting, I strive to be the best. Having those around me who are more advanced, pushes me to become a better athlete, work harder, and push myself towards the path of greatness. Coaches and observers never fail to compliment my clever thinking and natural love and dedication to the sport. I take great satisfaction in making sure I have proper technique and what many people spend time trying to achieve. The strongest part of my game is my physical power and ability to throw and hit the ball hard. I have grown in this sport strong and continue to get stronger as I advance in age. The part of the game I struggle with is the mental part. Maintaining a stable line of emotions throughout the game is tough when I make mistakes. Thankfully, my coaches around me have given me more than enough to work on this mental part of the game and help me grow over time in this area of improvement. Since playing at the college level, I have discovered the competitiveness and fast pace environment and how to successfully grow within it.
