Rylee Grace Wood '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Rylee Grace Wood I am a senior at Holy Rosary High School in Lloydminster AB.  I am a hardworking, determined student athlete both on and off the field. I love this game with my whole heart and my goal is to further my athletics and academics at a school that is the right fit for me. I apply and show up as my best self in everything that I do.  I have been commended and complemented by not only my coaches, but coaches on opposing teams, umpires and teammates that I am extremely coachable, positive , and show great leadership. I understand that there is always room for improvement, that reaching and setting higher goals is part of the growth process. I am constantly improving my skills on and off the field with training. I always try everyday to be a better athlete than I was yesterday. Off the field I am a strong student with many academic achievements, a member of student leadership council and my schools redcross team. Out of the classroom I am an active member of our community and am currently the president of the Lloydminster Youth Council, voted by peers and mentors unanimously.  I  have a passion for learning about the mechanics of our bodies, I am a certified yoga instructor and use my knowledge to my advantage in my softball career.
