Kambria Anson - 2...Coaches -
When I was five years old, I was invited to play on my first tee-ball team in the recreational league near where I lived. I remember being so scared of the ball and nervous about not knowing what to expect. As soon as I stepped on the field, I knew I had found a place where I belong. Since then, I have experienced my ups and downs with the sport, but I have grown to a point where I do not think I could live without it. I have learned so many lessons from several coaches over the years and I would not be the person I am today without softball.
The best part of softball is working hard to overcome the difficult times - the slumps, errors, or anything else - that may come in the way of performing to my best ability. Every day I train hard and focus on becoming the best athlete I can possibly be. However, I understand that there needs to be a balance between the athletic and academic aspects of my life. Education is a high priority of mine and I uphold a 4.59 weighted GPA with several honors and AP/ IB classes under my belt. My goal with college softball is to find a school that will fit me athletically and, more importantly, academically. After graduation, I plan on working towards a major in exercise science in order to apply to a physical therapy graduate school where I will be able to receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT).
Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I am looking forward to future contact with you.
