Despite my shyness towards people and my quiet personality, I am loud and verbal during the game, breaking out of my shell. I try to help who I can with what I can while the coach is helping someone else. I always push myself as hard as I can go to make sure I am playing my best, and most times more than I can. Even with all the sports I participate in, I still maintain a 4.0 GPA, with honors and dual credit classes. I stand out from other recruits by starting my college hunt in the beginning of my eighth grade year, giving me a head start on the college search while actively taking on my early college credits while still in high school.
Catching is a grueling position to play and is extremely hard on the body. To help prevent injuries and prolong my softball career, I am proactive in taking care of my body with diet, stretching and post practice/game routines which includes icing my joints to reduce inflammation. This helps ensure that I am at my best for my team and coaches whenever I am called upon.
