Hello Coaches! My name is Aaliyah Rodriguez and I am currently a junior that attends River Valley High School. I play for Az Bombers Willams 18U and primarily play at 1st base. I would be a great asset to any team because I always try to find a way to help out in any way I can. As a player and fellow friend to my peers, I do my best to make sure they are in the right headspace as well. I‘ve learned that over time controlling your emotions can benefit you in the long run. When plays go the wrong way I have learned to clean up what went wrong, and continue to play the game I love. Athletically, finding new ways to help me improve in my sport is always exciting to me. I’ve taken up weightlifting to build up strength recently and safe to say I achieved a new squat PR of 305 pounds!! Finally, I have a GPA of 3.81 (unweighted). I strive to have high grades because it makes me proud of what I am capable of! I enjoy learning because it opens my mind. I am a very curious and strong willed person; Learning can show me new doors, having softball let’s me actually open and step through them.
