I have played softball since I was seven years old. I've worked hard to be the player I am now and I'm continuing to work hard to get to the next level. I am the first one on the field and the last one off the field. I gather my team mates together to put in work months before the season is even thought about. While others are off being multi-sport athletes I'm training hard in my one sport. I work hard for my team and my coaches and I will work hard for you! I don't only work hard on the field but I work hard in the classroom. I am currently at the top of my class and I am working toward graduating as valedictorian. I not only work hard to get the "A" but I also work hard to understand the work and remember it, so I can use it later on in life. Academics are something that most kids my age take for granted, but I know how important they are for everyday life. I am the oldest child in my family so leadership and responsibility is something that comes naturally to me. I am a leader on my team and I strive to be a good example for all. I am a role model for the girls on the insanity ten and under team and I take it seriously. I want to inspire them to work hard. My parents raise me to have respect for everyone and I strive everyday to be a friend to everyone I come across. Smiling while you pass someone on the street can change someones day and even start a chain reaction of smiling to strangers. I not only want to play college in softball but I also want to get the education. I will use my education to go to medical school, so the scholarships will help not only me but others. I want to be a doctor. Being a doctor would change my life and the people around me. I want to use my degree to help others. Being a doctor would mean being able to give back to my community and the people that have made me the person I am today. I want to affect people in a positive way. I've always wanted to help those who can't help themselves.
