Personal Statement

Ever since my dad bought me my first glove at the age of eleven, I have fallen in love with the game of softball. Over these past years I’ve realized how much I love being a part of a softball team, whether it’s playing club or representing my high school team. When I’m on the softball field, I feel most at home. This game allows all of my confidence and leadership skills to shine through as I give it my all. Moving forward, I want to continue to have the opportunity to represent the university I will call home.  Playing at the collegiate level would be an incredible honor and a big accomplishment.

Throughout my life, my parents, grandparents and the rest of my supportive family have always encouraged me to put my best effort forward. Whether academically, athletically, or socially, my family has influenced me to always be my best self and give 100% effort. My coaches and teachers would say I am 100% focused and always working towards my goals both on and off the field. I am a go-getter and always working to improve my skills. Overall, I feel that if you put your all into everything you do, you will be rewarded with happiness and success.

At the end of the day, I’m looking for a university that will provide me the tools for academic greatness. I’m looking for a college that will provide me with both a great academic and athletic experience. Teamwork and accountability are two important traits that I look for in teams and coaches. I want to be able to connect with my teammates and coaches both on and off the field. Softball and my education are very important to me and I hope to fulfill my dream of playing at the collegiate level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
