Savanna Gumowski '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Savanna Gumowski, class of 2025 at Valley Vista High School, and I live in El Mirage, Arizona. I've been playing softball for about 10 years now, but ever since I was 10 years old, being so passionate about this sport made my number one goal/dream in life to be a collegiate softball player. As of right now, I’m interested in pursuing a degree in child development or any other related field as I want to become a child life specialist. In high school, I'm a member of AVID, and was a member of HOSA; (I was in NJHS in middle school and I have a GPA of 3.947). I had the honor of playing Varsity ever since freshman year and got awards such as second-team all-district, 2 honorable mention all-district, and 3 honorable mention all-region from AIA. I'm also a starting outfielder for my travel club team, which is currently Team Hustle 18U. I also have the great opportunity of representing Team USA in the Dominican Republic through America’s Teams and ACIS, upcoming this July 2024. Being on a team and building relationships with the girls feels very special to me. Just these seasons alone have given me more drive to continue playing softball in college someday. I’m looking forward to working hard on improving my skills and overall fitness during these next couple of years.
